In 2016 the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Government of Abkhazia granted stationary building (#68, Dimitri Uznadze str.) to the Sokhumi Konstantine Gamsakhurdia Professional State Drama Theater, where the rehearsal and office were located.

On 15 January 2017 the Sokhumi Theater was solemnly granted with the rehabilitated stage in the same building.

In the mentioned building the Sokhumi Theater owns the following: one big stage, one rehearsal room, office space, lobby, veranda.

The building has no special architectural value.
